   Okay.  Toru Inagaki put on CC to keep him informed about
   the outcome of this agreement.

 More feedback for submitters:

  I gather from the first paragraph of your README.md that this
  package has been promoted from a "pseudo babel package" to
  a "real" babel package and that you are already referring to
  it as "babel-japanese".

  So had we not better rename the CTAN package, too, from the
  (far too general!) "japanese" to "babel-japanese"?

  And if we do this, should we not relocate it from
           ctan:/language/japanese/japanese/
  to       ctan:/macros/latex/contrib/babel-contrib/japanese/ ?

  (If you agree that this should be done, we will delay the
  announcement from "now+24hrs" to "end_of_movement+24hrs".)

 The update has been installed on our central server and will
 be announced about 24 hours later, when the mirrors have had
 enough time to pick up the new files ... or a little later,
 as described above.
