However, please note
 https://ctan.org/file/help/ctan/CTAN-upload-addendum#versionidentifier

Although the release date was updated at the bottom of README.md
and (automatically) in japanese.pdf,  version + release date were
left unchanged in line 26 of babel-japanese.dtx (and _maybe_
also line 139 of the same file?)

Please correct this little oversight and re-upload.  Thanks!
