 I saw in README.md:

       The original ASCII edition can be obtained from:
           - https://ctan.org/pkg/ptex-texmf

 But this is no longer true, is it?

 BTW:  The CTAN team would be very grateful if the Japanese TeX
       Development Community could have a look at that page and
       propose adequate alterations.   Thanks!
